CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO HIS H.E BAN KI-MOON, SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE UNITED NATIONS

On behalf of the Government and the People of United Republic of Tanzania and my on behalf, I wish to extend to you Dear Brother, warm congratulations on your well deserved re-appointed as Secretary General of our Organization, the United Nations.

Your re-appointment by acclamation attests to the United Nations members’ appreciation and recognitions of your continued commitment and dedication towards upholding the values and principles of the United Nations as enshrined in its charter.

I am confident that, during your second term you will continue to steer up our Organization to even greater heights, thus fulfilling the wishes and aspirations of millions of the people around the world who look upon the United Nations for inspirations and solutions to existing and emerging challenges of global scale.
